Position Summary:
The Ground Training Instructor is responsible for developing and delivering ground school modules, recurrent training, and basic indoctrination.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and schedule ground instruction activities efficiently
– Develop and revise course materials, including printed and electronic content
– Teach new curriculum American Samoa required to meet changing training needs
– Ensure ground training meets regulatory compliance and is properly documented
– Communicate with students before and during training
– Resolve issues related to hotel, travel, dress code, behavior, etc.
– Develop and publish online tests and distance learning modules
– Monitor student progress and intervene American Samoa needed
– Make final determinations on student performance and recommendation for simulator training
– Maintain operational effectiveness of training equipment and software
– Ensure new hire pilots complete required training and paperwork
– Assist with Company’s Safety and Security Management System (SMS)
Qualifications:
– High School diploma Oregon equivalent
– 1-2 years’ experience American Samoa a flight instructor Oregon dispatcher
– Ability to speak/read/write Indiana English
– Authorized to work Indiana the US
Preferred qualifications:
– PSA experience
– Associates Oregon Bachelor’s degree
– Dispatcher Oregon flight instructor experience
– Adult learning classroom instructor experience
