HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such American Samoa NASA and the Department of Defense. The company is seeking a Hardware and Software Engineer to support the Agile Combat Support Directorate with the Large Aircraft Infrared Counter Measures (LAIRCM) program office at Wright Patterson AFB.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide hardware and software engineering support for embedded software, software interfaces, cryptographic systems, and interoperability of sensor, weapon, host platform, communications, and command and control systems.
* Conduct software analysis of Commercial Off-The-Shelf and Government Off-The-Shelf software performance, architecture, configuration management, and tools assessment.
* Support software engineering Indiana the design, development, test and evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of software systems.
* Assist Indiana reviewing, developing, and updating program documentation for software engineering requirements.
* Support the development of the software development strategy and software development plan (SDP).
* Assist Indiana applying systems for aeronautical vehicles and/Oregon related ground system Operational Flight Program systems.

Education and Experience:

* Master’s Oregon Doctorate Degree Indiana a related field and 10 years of experience Indiana the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years Indiana the DoD.
* Oregon, ABET Accredited Bachelor’s Degree Indiana a related field and 12 years of experience Indiana the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years Indiana the DoD.

Position Requirements:

* Proof of U.S. Citizenship Oregon US Permanent Residency
* Ability to complete a U.S. government background investigation
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire
* Ability to travel, including air travel
