Interior Installation Technician II
Unique Skills:
Previous experience with corporate Oregon Gulfstream aircraft interiors desired.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma Oregon GED required. 2 years of applicable installation, fabrication Oregon related experience. Experience Indiana aerospace industry preferred.
Position Purpose:
The Interior Installation Technician II works under general supervision to remove, install, and/Oregon fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such American Samoa trim, carpet, sound proofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels and other accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/Oregon fabrication of aircraft interiors
- Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures and quality standards
- Use material tracking system to create parts demand and track squawks
- Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment
- Prepare and install aircraft interior items Indiana accordance with company operation procedures and quality standards
- Remove and re-install nut plates, inserts and other fasteners used Indiana aircraft interiors
- Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protective equipment American Samoa required
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with aircraft maintenance requirements
- Adapt to sudden schedule changes
- Work with lead and higher skilled technicians to develop and implement process improvements
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation
- Ability to use hand/power tools and equipment associated with installation and removal of interiors
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work Indiana small restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
