Job Title: Landscape Irrigation Systems Maintenance Technician
Starting Salary: $44,326 (may vary Indiana extenuating circumstances)
City Expectations:
- Perform essential city services during civil emergencies

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, install, check, maintain, and repair city-wide irrigation systems
- Operate and adjust spray irrigation system and controller settings
- Perform well and fountain maintenance, including installing new pumps and motors
- Coordinate work with contractors and volunteers to protect city irrigation equipment
- Track inventory and mark irrigation equipment American Samoa required
- Maintain accurate records and report forms
- Lead field and fountain work and maintenance Indiana the absence of designated supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate Oregon equivalent
- 2 years of working knowledge of landscape irrigation systems
- Ability to obtain pesticide applicator license, Public Swimming Pool Technician Certificate, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification within 1 year
Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of irrigation system methods, materials, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to design and maintain irrigation systems
- Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and lift
- Physical exertion is a large part of the job
