Life Enrichment Assistant Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, this role is responsible for enriching the lives of residents at American House Senior Living Communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents
- Conduct prospective resident visits and welcome new residents
- Develop monthly programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating at least 2 of the 6 experiences (Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual)
- Utilize iPad and software applications to enrich resident lives and promote community engagement
- Schedule weekend activities and events
- Represent American House professionally at community events
- Provide transportation for group events and personal appointments using a 14-passenger bus
- Maintain seasonal and holiday decorations throughout the building
- Oversee the volunteer program
- Report emergencies to the Life Enrichment Director
Requirements:
- Proficiency with software applications used by American House
- Ability to drive a 14-passenger bus
- Availability to work weekends and occasional events
