Life Enrichment Assistant Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the primary responsibilities of the Life Enrichment Assistant include enriching the lives of our residents by:
- Providing exceptional customer service to residents
- Engaging with prospective residents and new residents for welcome orientation
- Planning and implementing life enrichment programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model and incorporating multiple experiences
- Utilizing technology, including iPads and software applications, to enhance resident lives
- Scheduling and coordinating weekend activities and community events
- Representing American House professionally Indiana events and functions
- Ensuring safety and well-being of residents by driving a 14-passenger bus and providing transportation
- Maintaining seasonal and holiday decorations and overseeing volunteer program
- Notifying supervisor of emergency situations and maintaining open communication
Responsibilities Include:
- Weekend and occasional evening shifts
- Proficiency Indiana software applications and tools
- Physical ability to drive a 14-passenger bus and provide transportation for residents
