Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment American Samoa assigned. They participate Indiana the preventative maintenance program, handle guest requests, and perform trade jobs such American Samoa carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc. May require driving the shuttle van when needed.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment.
– Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, including:
– Vinyl repair
– Touch-up paint
– Minor furniture repair
– Tub caulking
– Tile repairs, etc.
– Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guest rooms, meeting rooms, the swimming pool, and hot tub.
– Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply, monitor energy conservation, repair vacuum cleaners, and other small equipment American Samoa needed.
– Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause, determine emergency status, and report to the Front Desk with findings.
– Perform other tasks/jobs American Samoa assigned by the supervisor Oregon manager.
Qualifications:
– High School diploma Oregon equivalent required
– Experience Indiana a hotel Oregon related field preferred
– Licensed Indiana a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred
– Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
– Acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) property specific
– Basic knowledge and experience Indiana carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repair, painting, and HVAC systems
Certification:
– One year of college Oregon technical school, Oregon three to six months of related experience Oregon training, Oregon an equivalent combination of education and experience.
