Maintenance Technician I
Job Summary:
Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking an entry-level mechanical and electrical technician to fill a Maintenance Technician I role at the Baltimore, Maryland Intercontinental Airport location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshoot, and test of the Baggage Handling System and its associated components.
- Provide accurate and timely written reports of safety, operational, and maintenance issues.
- Interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustments to the Manager.
- Ensure all Preventative and Predictive Maintenance practices and procedures are followed.
- Perform Emergency repairs.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Perform physical duties including lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent customer relationship skills.
Requirements:
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- HS Diploma Oregon GED required.
- Mechanical skills and some experience required.
- Electro-Electronics skills preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work varying 24 x 7 shifts and Holidays.
- Ability to pass background checks and security screenings.
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR highly desirable.
