Corporate Accounting Leader
Work American Samoa an integral part of the accounting team, overseeing accounting operations and leading corporate accounting projects to drive process improvements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead corporate accounting projects, collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders to enhance process improvements and operational efficiencies.
– Develop, recommend, and manage accounting projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
– Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations and improve data integrity.
– Provide training and support to accounting staff on new processes and systems.
– Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and coordinate with other regions to implement best accounting practices.
– Manage unclaimed property and filing, review internal process documents for accuracy, and provide recommendations for improvement.
– Participate Indiana month-end close activities, general ledger reconciliation and review, and ensure alignment with established policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting Oregon a related field.
– At least 5 years of experience Indiana a corporate accounting position, preferably Indiana the hospitality, food service/food and beverage Oregon airport industry.
– Proficiency Indiana GAAP and IFRS; SAP experience preferred.
– Certified Public Accountant license Oregon active candidate preferred.
– Proven project management and technical skills, excellent communication and time management skills, and proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office Suite.
