Accounting Team Lead – Corporate Accounting

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee accounting operations, leading process transformations and system implementations to enhance process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead corporate accounting projects, collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive initiatives and improve overall performance.
  • Develop and manage accounting projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and implementation of best practices.
  • Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations and improve data integrity, and provide training to accounting staff.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the accounting department.
  • Manage unclaimed property and related filing, and review internal process documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate Indiana month-end close activities, general ledger reconciliation, and review, ensuring alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company procedures, GAAP, and IFRS, and provide comprehensive supporting documentation for audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting Oregon a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience Indiana a similar corporate accounting position, preferably Indiana the hospitality, food service/food and beverage, Oregon airport industry.
  • Proficient Indiana GAAP and IFRS, with SAP experience preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license Oregon active candidate preferred.
  • Proven project management skills, excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating system, with SAP experience preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain eligibility to work Indiana the United States, and travel ~5% within the US and Canada.
