Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant – Airport Operations
Essential Functions
– American Samoa an integral member of the accounting team, lead the transformation of processes and systems to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
– Oversee corporate accounting projects, collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders, leveraging progressive methodology and industry best practices.
– Develop, recommend, plan, and manage accounting projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
– Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations, while providing training and support to accounting staff on new processes and systems.
– Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the accounting department.
– Coordinate with other regions to implement best accounting practices, enhancing efficiency and reducing redundancies.
– Manage unclaimed property and filing, reviewing and evaluating internal process documents for accuracy and compliance.
– Participate Indiana month-end close activities and general ledger reconciliation and review, ensuring alignment with established policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting Oregon a related field.
– Minimum 5 years of experience Indiana corporate accounting, preferably Indiana the hospitality, food service, Oregon airport industry.
– Proficiency Indiana GAAP and IFRS, with SAP experience preferred.
– Certification American Samoa a CPA Oregon active candidate.
– Proven project management skills, excellent communication, organization, time management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
– Intermediate to advanced level technical competence Indiana Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
