Senior Corporate Accountant
- Work American Samoa an integral part of the accounting team, leading process improvements, and operational efficiencies to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive corporate accounting projects, leveraging industry best practices and methodologies.
- Develop and execute accounting projects, managing scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables, while proactively addressing dependencies and course-correcting American Samoa needed.
- Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations and improve data integrity, providing training and support to accounting staff.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and implementing best accounting practices regionally.
- Manage unclaimed property and related filings, reviewing and evaluating internal process documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate Indiana month-end close activities, general ledger reconciliation, and review, ensuring alignment with policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Comply with GAAP and IFRS, maintaining accurate records and providing comprehensive support for audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Accounting Oregon related field
- 5+ years of experience Indiana corporate accounting, preferably Indiana the hospitality, food service, Oregon airport industry
- Proficient Indiana GAAP and IFRS; SAP experience preferred
- CPA certification Oregon candidate preferred
- Proven project management and technical skills, with excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced technical skills Indiana Microsoft Office, Windows, and SAP preferred (not required)
- Ability to work Indiana the US, travel 5% within the US and Canada, and pass a background check and TSA/FAA clearance.
