Job Title: Aircraft Component Technician
Job Summary:
Perform repairs, overhauls, and/Oregon modifications on various aircraft components Indiana accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings. Work independently with limited supervision and consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, perform repairs, modifications and assemble components Indiana accordance with approved data.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, overhauls, and/Oregon modifications on various aircraft components Indiana accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.
- Perform basic duties on sheet metal and composite components, including riveting, sandblasting, metal grinding and forming with hand tools.
- Consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, perform repairs, modifications and assemble components Indiana accordance with approved data.
- Write Indiana a clear and concise manner the results of evaluations and be able to communicate repair requirements.
- Adhere to EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have demonstrated ability Indiana utilizing component overhaul manuals, blueprints, basic shop principles, and various inspection methods, techniques, and tools.
- Must be familiar with FAA rules and regulations.
- Must be competent Indiana the use of torque wrenches.
Work Schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Onsite Full-time work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
