Reports to: Project Superintendent, Project Manager Oregon MEP Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and make decisions related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation and resolve local area problems.
  • Manage site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.
  • Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns, including performance appraisals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements.
  • Create schedules, determine sequencing of work, and develop recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
  • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues, investigate and resolve issues.
  • Manage billing process, work Indiana place, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
  • Ensure work is installed Indiana compliance with contract documents and coordinates with Engineer on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover, and training process.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure conformance with plans, specifications, and codes.
  • Review project changes and keep detailed daily records of MEPS trade contractors’ work progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Oregon at least four years of formal engineering Oregon architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
  • Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
  • Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of building information modeling and its use Indiana coordination of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Proven written and verbal communication abilities and proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel objects, tools Oregon controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, Oregon crawl.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes Oregon airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
