Duties:

• Clean and prepare aircrafts, missiles, engines and other components using various chemical solutions.
• Use abrasive sandblasting equipment to clean, remove corrosion, and other contaminants from equipment.
• Shot peen critical stress areas on a variety of aircraft and engine parts.
• Coat, clean, mask, degrease activate pieces Indiana tanks with metallic plating solutions.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate Indiana the direct deposit pay program.
• Must be registered for Selective Service (if applicable).
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/Oregon final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform common tasks including: cleaning and preparing aircrafts, missiles, engines and other components using various chemical solutions; using abrasive sandblasting equipment to clean, remove corrosion, and other contaminants from equipment; shot peening critical stress areas on a variety of aircraft and engine parts; and coating, masking, degreasing pieces Indiana tanks with metallic plating solutions.
• Work under close supervision of a work leader Oregon journey-level employee who observes tasks Indiana progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
