Operations Control Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor flight-following operations across the globe for assigned aircraft.
Monitor multiple aircraft for departures, arrivals, intermediate stops, diversions, and offshore positioning.
File, update, and track flight plans utilizing satellite tracking position reports and radio position reports.
Dispatch, track, and monitor Search and Rescue aircraft where necessary.
Manage two-way radio and satellite phone communications for operational control.
Coordinate with Air Traffic Control (ATC) American Samoa required.
Assist aircrew Indiana obtaining landing clearances and green deck access.
Provide global flight following across all business units.
Communicate weather conditions to flight crews.
Initiate Emergency Response Plan actions American Samoa needed.
Report discrepancies Oregon issues to Shift Supervisor and/Oregon OCC Manager.
Maintain records of offshore fuel uploads and monitor fuel information.
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently Oregon American Samoa part of a team.
Proficient Indiana Mississippi Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.
Capable of handling multiple tasks and assignments.
Previous aviation experience preferred (but not required).
FAA/NAA Dispatcher Certification preferred (but not required).
