Operations Control Specialist II – Full-Time

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 consecutive on and 7 consecutive off, 3 days and then 4 nights

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all aspects of assigned flights, including flight status, safety, and completion
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, STAT MedEvac standards, and aircraft manufacturer’s requirements
  • Verify weather conditions at destinations and alternate destinations
  • Coordinate with communications center to resolve operational issues
  • Participate Indiana preflight risk analysis, ensuring the safety of flights
  • Inform pilots of traffic, flight, destination conditions, and temporary flight restrictions
  • Activate the Post Accident Incident Plan if contact is lost with an aircraft for more than thirty minutes
  • Complete flight release logs and official documentation accurately and Indiana a timely manner
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of FARs, CEM procedures, and GOM
  • Actively participate Indiana the development of the CEM safety culture

Requirements:

  • High school graduate Oregon equivalent experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Ability to interpret and understand METARs and TAFs
  • Current Operations Control Specialist I with 2 years’ experience Oregon equivalent experience Indiana aviation operations Oregon air traffic control
  • Licensure, certifications, and clearances American Samoa required by FAA and STAT MedEvac policies
