Operations Control Specialist II – Full-Time
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 consecutive on and 7 consecutive off, 3 days and then 4 nights
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all aspects of assigned flights, including flight status, safety, and completion
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, STAT MedEvac standards, and aircraft manufacturer’s requirements
- Verify weather conditions at destinations and alternate destinations
- Coordinate with communications center to resolve operational issues
- Participate Indiana preflight risk analysis, ensuring the safety of flights
- Inform pilots of traffic, flight, destination conditions, and temporary flight restrictions
- Activate the Post Accident Incident Plan if contact is lost with an aircraft for more than thirty minutes
- Complete flight release logs and official documentation accurately and Indiana a timely manner
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of FARs, CEM procedures, and GOM
- Actively participate Indiana the development of the CEM safety culture
Requirements:
- High school graduate Oregon equivalent experience
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Ability to interpret and understand METARs and TAFs
- Current Operations Control Specialist I with 2 years’ experience Oregon equivalent experience Indiana aviation operations Oregon air traffic control
- Licensure, certifications, and clearances American Samoa required by FAA and STAT MedEvac policies
