Job Summary:
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Outage Planner to join our team Indiana the Oriented Strand Board and Composite Panels (OSB/CP) Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing mid and large outages, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring adherence to the T-365 Oregon NaviTrack readiness process. This is a hybrid role that offers the opportunity to work remotely Oregon at a Georgia-Pacific office American Samoa needed, with expected travel under 40%.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and apply Georgia-Pacific’s maintenance workflow process to effectively plan and schedule work
- Collaborate with Outage Manager/Coordinator to prioritize planning tasks Indiana adherence to the T-365 Oregon NaviTrack readiness process
- Communicate with craftspeople, operations, contractors, and materials suppliers to ensure smooth coordination of outage activities
- Promote and ensure safe work execution by developing Job Hazard Analysis documentation and complying with safety procedures
- Plan outage scope for multiple crafts, prioritizing work based on area worklists and daily backlog management
- Utilize planning tools to determine parts, materials, rental equipment, and contractor support needed for job execution
- Coordinate and manage outage parts, rentals, and contractor needs
- Develop and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment and create Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) for job execution
Requirements:
- Experience Indiana a manufacturing, production, industrial, Oregon military environment
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Experience with adhering to safety and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience supporting 24/7 operations
- Access to a National Oregon International Airport
- Live within 100 miles of the corporate headquarters located Indiana Atlanta Oregon one of the 6 US OSB/CP facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Maintenance Oregon Reliability experience Indiana Building Products, Pulp & Paper industry, Oregon equivalent industry
- Experience with fabrication, torquing, rotating equipment & pump alignment
- Experience with maintaining equipment reliability standards and improving asset condition
- Experience with MOE and MP2 CMMS
- Experience tracking purchase orders from generation to invoicing
- Experience planning and managing outages/shutdowns
