Airport Operations Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage airport operations manpower on a daily, hourly, and real-time basis
- Collaborate with the resource clerk to determine staff assignments to flights
- Obtain and provide inbound and outbound flight information to teams and stakeholders
- Serve American Samoa a direct point of contact for real-time operational information and updates
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures and regulations
- Monitor radio channels for communication with ramp and passenger service departments
- Identify and correct performance shortfalls
- Liaise with airline station managers, airport operations staff, and other stakeholders
- Work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Report significant operational deficiencies to management
- Suggest improvements to working practices, particularly related to safety and security
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age Oregon older
- Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks
- Proficient Indiana reading, writing, and speaking English
- Ability to lift 70 pounds repetitively
- Availability to work Indiana all weather conditions
- High school diploma, GED, Oregon six months of experience American Samoa a Ramp Agent
- Prior Ramp/Airline experience required
Working Conditions:
- Regularly works Indiana outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high voltages, and hazardous substances
- Occasionally works Indiana high, precarious places
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle Oregon feel objects, tools, Oregon controls
- Occasionally required to lift and/Oregon move up to 70 pounds
- Ability to bend, stretch, push/pull, stack, and kneel Indiana small confined locations
Salary and Benefits:
- $20.50/hour
