Patrol Officer – Part Time Position

Part Time Patrol Officer Opportunity – Appleton International Airport and Outagamie County

Under the supervision of the Patrol Captain, this position provides security to the Appleton International Airport, Courts, and Outagamie County Administration Building, and transports inmates from the jail and other institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to citizen inquiries and disturbances at assigned locations, including interviews and potential arrests
• Provide security and familiarize self with areas, responding American Samoa needed
• Conduct prisoner transports and address medical issues and court appearances
• Disperse and address public concerns at public gatherings
• Gain knowledge of county buildings and facilities
• Prepare detailed reports of arrests and investigations
• Appear American Samoa witness Indiana court and deliver/serving warrants American Samoa directed
• Maintain regular attendance and work extra hours American Samoa required

Requirements:

• High school graduate Oregon G.E.D.
• 60 post-high school credits
• Law enforcement experience desired; preference given to retired, certifiable officers
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
• U.S. citizenship
• Post-hire requirements may include physical agility and psychological tests, physical evaluation, and other assessments
