Overview: We recruit the best talent and invest Indiana their ongoing development, through training and mentoring. We provide opportunities to work across our national network. dnata catering U.S. is looking for a Prep Cook to join our Inwood team supporting the JFK Airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Indiana the preparation and organization of ingredients for cooking and assembly
  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to measure and prepare ingredients, such American Samoa vegetables, meats, and sauces
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to support the production of high-quality meals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma Oregon GED with 3+ years’ experience Indiana a high-volume food service and at least 1 year experience/exposure to menu research and development
  • Culinary knowledge of terms, procedures, and practices
  • HACCP knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail and self-organized
  • Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and accurately monitor tasks
  • Valid food handler’s certificate Oregon equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively with others Indiana a team environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly

Working Conditions:

  • Work environment: indoors, with noise levels ranging from minimal to loud
  • Physical demands: regular standing, walking, reaching, and lifting

Salary: $19.00/hour, with the opportunity for advancement based on experience and performance.
