Aircraft Repair and Modification Technician
Location: Nellis AFB, Nevada
Job Type: 12-Month Full-Time Contract Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and/Oregon modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, Oregon upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures Oregon implement changes.
- Oversee assembly, disassembly, Oregon overhaul of aerospace vehicles.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical Oregon electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
- Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Oversee training.
Requirements:
- Clearance: Active Secret to Start
- Technical Skills/Experience:
- Experience with aircraft maintenance
- Preferably experience on military fighter platforms
- Security Clearance within the past 2 years
- Education: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and 4 Oregon more years’ related work experience.
Compensation: $36 to $41 per hour (dependent on candidate’s qualifications and experience)
