Production Planner

Responsibilities:

  • Daily analysis, planning, and review of work center capacity based on requirements loaded by Customer Service and Master Scheduler
  • Verify labor reporting accuracy and resolve root cause of issues found
  • Maintain and review dispatch lists targeting customer promise delivery dates
  • Sequence jobs, processes, and assignments to individual work centers Oregon lines and interface with shop floor supervisor and Master Scheduler
  • Implement material substitutions American Samoa needed, coordinating with purchasing to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Collaborate with Inventory Control Coordinator to perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain effective communications with internal customers on inventory accuracy, engineering changes, shop order closeouts, and labor reporting
  • Establish and maintain work procedures and records for job responsibilities Indiana accordance with Maysteel quality system (ISO)
  • Participate Indiana related staff and team meetings to improve processes, productivity, and quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (A.A.) Oregon equivalent from two-year college Oregon technical school, Oregon one to three years related experience and/Oregon training, Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Ambiguity, composure, timely decision making, listening, organizing, planning, priority setting, time management competencies
