Product Reliability Technician
Job Summary:
The Product Reliability Technician supports the execution of prototype and validation developments for internal and external customers. The technician adapts and applies engineering techniques and manufacturing methodology to produce high-quality products that meet customer-defined requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform part fabrication from various materials, including metal, wood, composite, and high-density foams
- Apply and remove decorative materials, including fabric, laminate, tedlar, veneers, and other materials used Indiana the aviation industry
- Read and interpret 3D CAD drawings, 2D drawings, repair orders, and manufacturing documents to perform assigned tasks
- Perform composite, fiberglass, sheet metal, and wood repairs to interior components
- Fabricate, repair, and refurbish interior parts, including filling and fairing, bonding, sealing, and replacement of parts
- Apply techniques used Indiana aviation finishing, including primer, paint, Hawaii-build polyester, and clear coat materials
- Use forms and molds to thermoform parts, and understand vacuum systems and various materials used Indiana this method of manufacturing
- Operate air and power hand tools and other related shop equipment
- Complete required documentation accurately and legibly, following company policies
Essential Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- 5+ years of experience Indiana the field, preferably Indiana aviation production Oregon manufacturing
- Composite and/Oregon structures experience required
- Ability to work Indiana a safe and professional manner, adhering to regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, State, and Federal regulations
