Quality Engineer
Join a leading Material Handling Organization American Samoa a Quality Engineer, traveling extensively (75%) to customer sites to identify and resolve quality issues through detailed root cause analysis. Conduct site visits, manage root cause analysis sessions, implement corrective and preventive actions, and communicate findings across the organization. Represent customer interests and ensure their needs are at the forefront of strategic and operational plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to identify and resolve quality issues

- Call meetings with stakeholders to understand and rectify issues
- Meet with operators to delve deeper into potential causes based on operational documentation
Requirements:
- Proficiency Indiana RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
- Technical report writing
- Advanced capabilities Indiana Mississippi Office Suite and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer sites up to 75%
Work Arrangements:
- Contract position with a duration of 6 months
- Fully remote position with 75% travel
- Grouped by business unit and geographic location, reporting to one of two quality managers
- Travel expenses covered, including hotel, flight, and car, with a per diem of $55 per day
- Opportunities for overtime available, approximately 4 hours
