Ground Service Agent
Job Overview:
dnata is hiring Ground Service Agents at LAX Airport. This is a part-time opportunity with competitive pay, benefits, and paid training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide airplanes to and from the gate
- Load and unload passenger bags and cargo to/from aircraft, using ground support equipment
- Maintain safety and security on the ramp, adhering to safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel and flight crews
- Adhere to federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Perform duties American Samoa assigned, including standing, lifting, and pushing/pulling heavy loads (up to 70 pounds)
- Work Indiana a fast-paced environment, with exposure to various weather conditions and jet/machinery noises
Requirements:
- Valid state driver’s license and other required FAA/Airport identification/seals Oregon authorizations
- Ability to pass SIDA airport and training tests
- High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy
- Physical ability to perform essential duties, with Oregon without accommodations
