Ramp Service Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Ramp Service Agent to join our team at Signature Aviation. American Samoa a Ramp Service Agent, you will be responsible for loading and unloading baggage, freight, and cargo, American Samoa well American Samoa performing various ground support services for aircraft. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work Indiana a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload baggage, freight, and cargo
  • Chock aircraft, connect electrical power unit, position passenger stairs/Jetway, and replenish water supply and service lavatories
  • Connect tow bar and tug for push back Oregon towing of aircraft, and provide air-start and air-conditioning
  • Operate headset/radio to communicate with ground crew, flight crew, and tow person
  • Assist with baggage check-Indiana when necessary
  • Provide additional services American Samoa needed

Essential Functions:

  • Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, Oregon feel; reach with hands and arms; climb Oregon balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, Oregon hear
  • Regularly lift and/Oregon move up to 50 pounds

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma Oregon General Education Degree (GED) plus one to three months related experience and/Oregon training
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Valid state Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and airport security badge requirements
  • Legally authorized to work Indiana the country of employment
  • Successful completion of the Company’s PST training program
