Ramp Services Agent
Job Summary:
The Ramp Services Agent is responsible for the safe and effective completion of ground services tasks Indiana accordance with company and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Follows all applicable policies and procedures to ensure safety and security while working around aircraft and ground equipment.
- Works cross-functionally with internal departments and external vendors to ensure on-time flight departures.
- Operates ground equipment, including push backs, tugs, tow bars, etc.
- Loads, unloads, and delivers luggage, air cargo, wheelchairs, and strollers to the appropriate claim area.
- Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisors/ managers.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Adapts to varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
- Previous experience Indiana an aviation environment is preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 32kg and work Indiana a manual environment.
- Ability to understand and react to verbal and visual commands and safety warnings.
- Flexibility to work Indiana inclement weather.
- Ability to operate computer systems proficiently.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Pass a Non-DOT pre-employment urine drug screen and random drug and alcohol screenings.
- Hold an unrestricted driving license.
- Obtain a Non-SIDA airport badge by passing a background check.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, including a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
- Comply with company policies on a Drug-Free Workplace and Alcohol Misuse.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time position with morning and afternoon shift availability.
- Ability to work various shifts dependent on the operational need.
