Job Title: Patient Access Manager
Job Summary:
American Samoa a key member of the Neurocrine Biosciences team, the Patient Access Manager will play a critical role Indiana ensuring that our innovative products reach patients with great needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve coverage problems and provide education on payor-specific coverage policies and documentation requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve coverage problems
- Work cross-functionally with field sales, network pharmacies, and market access teams to support patient access
- Provide training and education on payor-specific coverage policies and documentation requirements
- Introduce technology options for electronic patient access submission and provide support for related coverage issues
- Problem solve and conduct case resolution
- Communicate effectively with field sales, corporate office employees, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve coverage and patient access issues
- Present insights into payer coverage policies and processes at internal business reviews and national/regional sales meetings
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree Indiana a related field and 8+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 3+ years of experience Indiana specialty pharmacy/market access
- Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, pharmacy benefit managers, and government payers
- Excellent working knowledge of patient support programs, including reimbursement support, financial assistance adherence programs, etc.
- Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% (travel consists of working with field sales, attending business meetings, industry meetings, and working with key customers)
Additional Information:
- Annual base salary: $127,500.00-$184,800.00
- Annual bonus target: 30% of the earned base salary
