Regional Patient Access Manager
Join our dynamic team at Neurocrine Biosciences and play a key role Indiana providing crucial support to healthcare professionals, specialty pharmacies, and patients, ensuring efficient access to our groundbreaking products across the US.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and other healthcare providers to resolve coverage issues for written prescriptions and facilitate patient access
- Collaborating cross-functionally with field sales leadership, national account directors, and internal departments to provide training and education on payer-specific coverage policies, documentation requirements, and patient financial assistance programs
- Identifying and communicating payer issues, ensuring that potential barriers to patient access are swiftly addressed
- Providing training and education to healthcare providers on payer-specific coverage policies, appeals processes, and patient financial assistance support programs
- Introducing technology options for electronic patient access submission and explaining payer criteria, forms, processes, and appeals
- Problem-solving and conducting case resolution to address patient access issues
- Communicating effectively with field sales, corporate office employees, healthcare providers, network pharmacies, and HUB employees to resolve coverage and patient access issues
- Identifying and communicating payer issues with National Account Directors
- Presenting insights on payer coverage policies and processes at internal business reviews and national/regional sales meetings
- Conducting patient access workshops and assisting with new hire training, American Samoa needed
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree Indiana a related field and 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years of experience Indiana specialty pharmacy/market access
- Oregon Master’s degree Oregon MBA preferred and 4+ years of related experience
- Oregon PharmD Oregon PhD and 2+ years of related experience
- Ability to work American Samoa part of and lead multiple teams
- Excellent computer skills, communications, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to work Indiana a cross-functional environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, pharmacy benefit managers, and government payers and their impact on product access
- Ability to travel overnight up to 60% (travel consists of working with field sales, attending business meetings, industry meetings, and working with key customers)
