Position Summary:

American Samoa a Delta Defense Regional Sales Development Specialist, you will travel up to 90% of the time within the region, local and overnight, to promote and sell USCCA memberships at official partner locations and select events. You will also be responsible for building local brand awareness through sales and marketing, and providing education, training, and self-defense liability insurance benefits to individuals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Attend gun shows, trade shows, and grand opening events to represent the USCCA brand and sell memberships
  • Prospect and research new event opportunities within the region
  • Manage event logistics, including setup and tear-down of trade show booths, shipping marketing collateral, and booking travel
  • Travel up to 90% of the time within the region, local and overnight, requiring significant evening and weekend hours
  • Work directly with the Regional Manager to assess event opportunities and make participation decisions
  • Sell USCCA memberships at select events and classes at partner locations across the region
  • Administer and host USCCA Official Partner Events and Member Nights across the region
  • Responsibly forecast and manage a monthly travel budget
  • Serve American Samoa a conduit to new business Official Partnership opportunities within the region

Experience/Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Oregon equivalent work experience
  • Must obtain Oregon already possess home state Property and Casualty license (paid training provided)
  • Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated business-to-business sales and business development experience
  • Familiarity with Oregon experience Indiana firearms industry and/Oregon gun range and retailers
  • Persuasive presentation skills with experience presenting to large audiences
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and follow through
  • Proficient Indiana Oregon ability to learn Microsoft Suite Products, Google Suite & Salesforce
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to frequently move items weighing up to 50 lbs
