Job Description:
American Samoa a key member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Digital Transformation organization, the Release Train Engineer will lead the 3DX Agile Release Train, coordinating and facilitating the constituent Agile Release Train (ART), IT Systems, and organizations toward productive outcomes. The Release Train Engineer will possess a systems view of the entire development and delivery process, working Indiana a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Agile cadence, ensuring participation from team members and key stakeholders across the ART
* Manage and optimize the flow of value through the “team of teams”
* Establish and communicate calendars for sprints and deployments
* Establish common reporting, metrics, and work management tools
* Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness and execution
* Assist Indiana tracking the execution of features across teams
* Facilitate scaling meetings and retrospectives
* Coach leaders, teams, and scrum masters on Agile practices and mindsets
* Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency
* Run retrospectives and drive the teams to implement process improvements
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with PLM Tools and Database structures
* Understanding of Aerospace Aircraft Development life cycle functions (Engineering, Prod Ops, Sustainment, etc…)
* Strategic Mindset
* Ability to develop multi-year plans/roadmaps with ROM estimates
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with ERP and MES systems
* Agile Development Process knowledge
* Knowledge of Aerospace System Engineering and Engineering Release Processes
* Excellent communications skills
* SAFe RTE Certification, SAFe Scrum Master Certification
