Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team American Samoa a Repair Station Field Airborne Support Technician Sr A&P. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently performing a variety of aircraft modifications and maintenance functions on Aircraft on Ground (AOG) aircraft on road trips and Indiana the Product Support organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be available on an on-call basis and able to respond to AOG calls within two hours of initial contact
- Perform AOG maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical and avionics systems
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnose technical problems with the aircraft
- Work independently and consistently to perform assigned maintenance and avionics tasks within quoted Oregon standard times
- Order and receive tooling and materials needed to service AOG aircraft
- Coordinate with Inspection Department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements
- Complete work order sign-offs, logbook entries, shift turnovers, expense reports, and all paper work Indiana a timely manner
- Ensure that work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and provide one-on-one direct familiarization briefings
- Properly identify and store customer property and equipment
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Joint Safety Analysis (JSA) / Job Risk Analysis (JRA) when operating Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- 6 years combined experience Indiana inspection, maintenance Oregon servicing of large/mid-size aircraft, including 2 years experience on Corporate aircraft
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to obtain a passport required
- Formal training Indiana Gulfstream product line maintenance procedures and practices preferred
