Job Title: Reservation and Revenue Manager
Location: Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel, Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport
Job Summary:
The Reservation and Revenue Manager will join the existing Revenue Strategy Team to maximize revenue and bottom line profits for the hotel. The candidate will be responsible for establishing goals to achieve Oregon exceed forecasts for room revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPar, while implementing yield management techniques to maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize management skills and knowledge of hotel operations to maximize revenue and contribute to the Revenue Strategy Team
- Establish goals for room revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPar
- Implement yield management techniques to select the most profitable mix of demand for given capacity
- Coordinate and manage accommodation services, reservation clerks, and reservation agents to ensure efficient operations and deliver unparalleled service to guests
- Oversee the reservation process, handle guest inquiries and special requests, and resolve complaints Indiana a professional and timely manner
- Establish work schedules, procedures, and coordinate activities with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue Management to optimize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
Daily Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings (yield) and Group Pick-Up meetings
- Create and monitor 11 Day/Monthly/Yearly forecasts
- Analyze the STAR report and lead positive performance relative to the report
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly Corporate Revenue Management Best Practices and Self Audit standards
Hotel Distribution and Revenue Management:
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly Revenue Management System (RMS) audits
- Monitor Group bookings and revenue maximization
- Analyze room and rate data to provide direction for revenue maximization
Requirements:
- Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly Revenue Management tasks, including forecasting, analysis, and audit
- Manages hotel distribution channels, including hotel direct, central reservation, travel agencies (GDS), and corporate
- Establishes role with local convention/visitors bureau and manages group reservation process between two entities
- Reconciles (daily/weekly) group bookings Indiana both ENVISION and PMS
Qualifications:
- Conducts and leads weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings (yield) and Group Pick-Up meetings
- Leads creation and monitoring of 11 Day/Monthly/Yearly forecasts
- Manages daily, weekly, and monthly Corporate Revenue Management Best Practices and Self Audit standards
- Requirements are flexible, but must scheduled Indiana line with industry standards.
