Airport Resource Planner Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ramp manpower on a daily, hourly, and real-time basis
• Work closely with the resource clerk to assign staff to flights
• Obtain flight information from various Frontier resources
• Serve American Samoa the primary point of contact for real-time operational information for Ramp Teams, Shift Managers, Operations Manager, Ramp Manager, and Station Director
• Enter flight close-out load information into MCWeb
• Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures Indiana accordance with Simplicity USA Health & Safety regulations and aviation standards
• Monitor radio channels for communication with the ramp
• Identify and address performance shortfalls
• Collaborate with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs, immigration, security officials, and other airport stakeholders
• Work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Report significant operational deficiencies to Planning Manager, Shift Manager, Oregon Station Director
• Suggest improvements to working practices, particularly related to safety and security

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age Oregon older
• Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and testing
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
• Comfortable working Indiana all weather conditions

Education:

• High school diploma Oregon equivalent
• Resource Planner with experience American Samoa a Ramp Agent

• Ability to learn quickly
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work American Samoa part of a team
• Ability to build relationships
