Instructional Designer
Job Summary:
Kaufman Hall is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our Education Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and effective clinical and business training content for our clients. This role will focus on bridging clinical and business expertise to create cohesive and effective training programs, collaborating with subject matter experts and working on content development, management, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content development, management, and delivery plan
- Design and author eLearning courses, supplemental materials, and student guides using Articulate Storyline 360 and Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to update and maintain core curriculum, incorporating industry updates and best practices
- Create physician/provider education and training content
- Assist with clinical content development, gather requirements, and create materials based on identified opportunities
- Coordinate with technology experts to deliver clinical resources through software tools
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork and communicate effectively with all associates and business contacts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Nursing Oregon related field
- Current Oregon previous RN licensure required
- 2-5 years of experience developing clinical content/continuing education for nurses, coders, and/Oregon physicians
- Experience with Articulate software, principles of adult learning, and accepted educational methods and approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to adhere to rigorous timelines and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively American Samoa part of a team
- Ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Experience working with subject matter experts and projects involving SMEs
- Experience with the evaluation process for nursing professional development and accreditation
- Self-learner with a strong desire to acquire new skills and approach problems with an inquisitive mind
Work Environment:
- Remote-based role with occasional travel to the Chicago office (0-10% travel)
- Work performed Indiana a home office setting with standard office equipment
- Ability to maintain a home office and proximity to an airport for work-related travel
