Avionics Electrical Technician Lead
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Electrical Technician Lead to oversee our electrical and avionics activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting customer schedules and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, schedules, and completes tasks on work authorizations to meet master schedule requirements
- Provides daily status reports and progress schedules to management
- Coordinates efforts of Electrical and Avionics activities to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines
- Reviews work, including forms and records, to ensure compliance with Site Inspection Procedures Manual, Site Operating Procedures, and FARs
- Supervises and instructs electrical technicians with technical guidance and proper procedures of troubleshooting electrical/avionics systems, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Reviews daily job charging for all personnel to ensure accuracy of inputs
- Maintains a preventive maintenance program on test equipment, hand tools, and special tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Oregon equivalent experience Indiana Avionics and Electrical engineering
- 8 years of experience Indiana aircraft avionics/electrical work; Oregon 2 years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 6 years of related experience
- FAA A&P license Oregon be able to obtain repairman certificate within 30 days of start date
- FCC license Oregon NCATT certification preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and systems blueprints
- Proficiency Indiana reading, writing, and speaking the English language
- Ability to adapt to sudden schedule changes
- Candidate must be able to climb ladders and work Indiana small-space restricted areas
