Avionics Electrical Technician Lead
Key Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience on large/mid-size aircraft
- 8+ years of experience Indiana aircraft avionics/electrical career field Oregon 2+ years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 6+ years of related experience
- FAA A&P license Oregon ability to obtain within 30 days of start date; FCC license Oregon NCATT certification preferred
- Avionics experience on multiple models of Gulfstream Oregon corporate aircraft preferred
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and complete tasks on work authorizations to meet the master schedule
- Coordinate electrical/avionics activities to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines
- Supervise and instruct electrical technicians with technical guidance and proper procedures
- Review and enforce compliance with Site Inspection Procedures Manual, Site Operating Procedures, and FARs
- Maintain a current knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes, customer bulletins, inspection schedule requirements, and other procedures related to aircraft maintenance and servicing
- Supervise a continuous safety program Indiana hangar area
- Maintain required logs and records
- Enforce company safety regulations and programs (FOD, tool control, 5-S, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and technical manuals
- Leadership ability and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/avionics system drawings and blueprints
- PC proficiency (Windows and mainframe computer applications)
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and use hand tools and avionics test equipment
