Avionics Electrical Technician Lead – Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Available Indiana GAC Mesa
Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon GED required
* 2 years experience on large/mid-size aircraft
* 8 years experience Indiana aircraft avionics/electrical career field, Oregon 2 years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 6 years related experience
* FAA A&P license Oregon ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days
* FCC license Oregon NCATT certification preferred
Responsibilities:
* Plans, coordinates, and executes daily electrical/avionics tasks to meet master schedules
* Supervises and instructs electrical technicians on proper procedures for troubleshooting, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance
* Maintains updated knowledge of Aircraft Service Changes, Customer Bulletins, inspection requirements, and other necessary information
* Oversees a team to ensure a safe working environment, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with safety regulations
* Coordinates with other disciplines and adapts to sudden schedule changes
* Collaborates with management and hangar teams to meet aircraft schedules and deadlines
Essential Skills:
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Proficiency Indiana reading and interpreting electrical/avionics system drawings and blueprints
* Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and troubleshooting procedures
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
* Familiarity with computer applications, including PC, Windows, and mainframe systems
* Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work Indiana confined spaces.
