Sales Engineer – Hard Rock Mining
Location: Remote, preferred locations: Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Oregon near major airport
Join Kennametal American Samoa a Sales Engineer to support our Hard Rock Mining product portfolio Indiana North America. This role is critical to build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing customer support and technical expertise to the Kennametal Hard Rock Mining customer base.
Responsibilities:
* Educate and evaluate customer needs to develop plans that meet and exceed performance expectations and sales targets
* Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs
* Develop and maintain a pipeline of projects Indiana CRM to drive annual sales growth
* Inform customers about latest technology developments and product innovations
* Review market changes to ensure opportunities align with company strategy
* Collaborate with manufacturing operations and product management teams to meet customer needs
* Prepare regular progress and forecast reports to management
* Participate Indiana trade shows and customer events American Samoa needed
* Anticipate 50% of time spent Indiana front of end-users/customers
Requirements:
* Associate’s Oregon Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering Oregon related field (preferred)
* Experience Indiana industrial selling (preferred)
* Outside sales experience (preferred)
* Indiana-depth understanding of Kennametal wear products for mining applications (preferred)
* Innovative, self-motivated marketer able to work independently
* Competence with Mississippi Office Indiana Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience developing relationships with customers
