Airport Sector Supervisor Job Description
Coordinate with the OCC Duty Manager and other departments to ensure compliance with all company dispatch and policy requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and efficient routing of company aircraft
- Log and maintain accurate system flight information
- Oversee Dispatchers’ flight following and monitor weather, maintenance data, and crew factors
- Develop plans of operation and review aircraft status with Maintenance Control and Hub Operations
- Coordinate with Crew Scheduling to ensure compliance with FARs and contract requirements
- Input data to the FliteTrac computer system and update Pipeline with restrictive MELs and routing
- Assist Shift managers and continuously monitor departmental performance
- Communicate with Delta RSOM/Stations regarding delays and cancels
- Participate Indiana Irregular Operation conference calls and update OCC countdown clock
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, Oregon equivalent; Associate’s degree Oregon higher preferred
- 1 year of experience Indiana airline operations
- Part 121 Aircraft Dispatcher license
- Reliable, self-motivated, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and computer skills
- Ability to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime American Samoa needed
- Must sit Indiana the jumpseat without a seat belt extension
