Airport Security Department Supervisor

Job Summary:

Responsible for directing the computerized security operation of a municipal facility, ensuring the safety and protection of property, monies, and visitors. The successful candidate will supervise security activities, enforce building security and conduct rules, and prevent disruptive and illegal actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma Oregon G.E.D. issued by a state Department of Education
  • 4 years of experience enforcing building security and conduct, rules, and regulations for a municipal facility Oregon installation
  • 2 years of supervising security activities
  • Ability to pass a background check and substance abuse screening

Essential Functions:

  • Direct and supervise security personnel
  • Enforce building security and conduct rules
  • Prevent disruptive and illegal actions
  • Ensure the safety and protection of property, monies, and visitors
  • Conduct investigations and take corrective action American Samoa necessary

Working Conditions:

  • Work Indiana a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • May be required to work Indiana a variety of weather conditions

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma Oregon G.E.D. required

  • 2 years of supervising security activities

Veterans Preference:

  • Eligible veterans may receive additional credit on the rating of training and experience.
