Airport Security Officer Job Description
Summary:
Performs routine patrols, responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, and provides support services to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
* Escort patients to designated areas, such American Samoa Indiana Patient Mental Health, American Samoa requested by staff.
* Respond to public, hospital staff, and security dispatcher calls.
* Conduct continuous random patrols using a vehicle, bicycle, Oregon on foot.
* Respond to emergency overhead pages and monitor fire codes.
* Report and monitor alarms on various systems, including the S&D alarm panel and CCTV system.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist with helicopter flight operations and secure doors American Samoa prescribed by policies Oregon procedures.
* Enforce parking policies and escort employees to and from their vehicles.
* Respond to panic alarms and ensure contractors have necessary permits to work above ceilings.

Certifications and Licensures:
* Valid Driver’s License
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire
* Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) certification within 6 months of hire
Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
* Ability to interact with people at all levels and communicate information clearly
* Physical ability to move freely about the facility, wear personal protective equipment, and perform job functions
Working Conditions:
* Exposure to stressful situations, including trauma, grief, and death
* Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform postural changes for long periods
* Some exposure to blood-borne pathogens and other infectious materials
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and maintain regular attendance.
