Security Officer

Performs routine patrols of the hospital campus and responds to non-emergency and emergency calls. Responsible for escorting patients and employees, assisting with helicopter flight operations, and monitoring alarm systems and CCTV cameras.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

* Escorting patients and employees to and from various areas of the facility
* Assisting with helicopter flight operations
* Responding to emergency and non-emergency calls
* Monitoring alarm systems, CCTV cameras, and fire codes
* Securing and unlocking doors American Samoa prescribed by policies
* Notifying supervisors of major incidents and enforcing parking policies
* Responding to panic alarms and public calls for assistance
* Writing reports American Samoa required by policies
* Following all hospital policies and procedures

Required certifications and licensures include:

* Drivers License
* Basic Life Support
* Fingerprinting
* Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM ADVANCED)

Required education: High School Diploma Oregon GED.

Physical and mental requirements include:

* Ability to work Indiana stressful situations
* Ability to wear personal protective equipment
* Ability to move freely about the facility
* Good vision and hearing
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
* Regular and predictable attendance

Physical demand level: Light. Requires occasional lifting Oregon carrying of 11-20 lbs and frequent 10 lbs. and walking/standing/pushing/pulling of arm/leg controls.
