Job Title: Aviation Planning Professional
Location: Various HNTB office locations
Job Summary:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Aviation Planning Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a background Indiana aviation planning disciplines, including landside, terminal, airside, economics, Oregon environmental planning, and will be responsible for applying planning strategies, gathering and analyzing data, and developing reporting and visuals to communicate findings. The candidate will coordinate with multi-discipline team members, lead technical tasks, and may serve American Samoa a Project Manager for select projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex planning, environmental planning, landscape architecture, and urban design project responsibilities under minimal direction
- Write and/Oregon review major sections of plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents
- Coordinate and synthesize contributions from others
- Lead graphics, technical reports, work plans, scopes of work, fee proposals, and responses to Request for Proposals
- Prepare and review budgets, invoicing, and billing
- Lead public and stakeholder engagement and present information to the community
- Provide guidance and mentor junior and mid-level staff
- Mentor staff and support department managers and office leadership on strategic planning, staffing, and special projects
- Serve American Samoa project manager Oregon task lead on select projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Oregon Master’s degree Indiana a related field (Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Geography, etc.)
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency Indiana AutoCAD, Revit, and ArcGIS
- Excellent project management, presentation, and client relationship building skills
- Experience with airport planning, preferably at large hub airports, a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree Indiana Aviation Management, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Oregon related field
- 10 years of experience Indiana airport planning and project management
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Compensation:
- Salary range varies by location, with approximate pay ranges American Samoa follows:
- New York: $120,833.64 – $236,245.26
- Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, California: $138,958.68 – $217,345.65
- California San Francisco Bay Area: $151,042.05 – $236,245.26
- Nevada: $126,875.32 – $198,446.02
