Airport Planning Project Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Planning Project Manager to join our aviation planning practice at HNTB. The successful candidate will have a passion for aviation and excellent analytical and communication skills to help deliver large portfolio of aviation planning projects at the nation’s largest and most exciting airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply planning strategies utilizing various technologies and tools to gather and analyze data, assess outcomes, and develop reporting and visuals to effectively communicate findings.
- Perform tasks for planning projects including research, studies, and documentation, coordinating with multi-discipline team members from concept development through project completion.
- Direct the technical production of planning assignments American Samoa task assignee and may serve American Samoa a Project Manager on a limited basis for select medium and large-scale projects.
- Coordinate with project manager, project designer, and other disciplines on multiple large-scale and complex transportation planning, urban design, Oregon landscape architectural projects to ensure that the client’s technical requirements of projects are fully met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Landscape Architecture, Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Geography, Oregon related field and 10 years related experience, Oregon Master’s Degree Indiana related field and 9 years of relevant experience.
- Directs and oversees technical work for a wide variety of airport planning and preliminary design projects.
- Leads capacity analyses for airport facilities.
- Develops concepts and alternative drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and ArcGIS.
- Prepares technical reports for airport planning studies.
- Interprets and oversees airport simulation models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Indiana Aviation Management, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Oregon related field and 10 years of experience.
- Extensive airport planning experience at large hub airports.
- Project Management experience with a focus on profitability.
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry.
- Excellent communication skills.

Compensation:
- The approximate pay range for New York is $120,833.64 – $236,245.26.
- The approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, California is $138,958.68 – $217,345.65.
- The approximate pay range for the California San Francisco Bay Area is $151,042.05 – $236,245.26.
- The approximate pay range for Nevada is $126,875.32 – $198,446.02.
