Airport Terminal Manager
Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day management of a DOT-regulated shuttle operation, special projects, and ensuring parking garages and shuttle operations comply with contractual guidelines. Oversees the operations of multiple locations, interacts with clients and customers, and manages financial and staffing needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate daily activities of managers, supervisors, dispatchers, and shuttle bus drivers to ensure facility operation is running smoothly.
- Ensure GPS complies with all DOT regulations and conducts safety inspections.
- Manage opening and closing of locations, complete daily paperwork, and oversee third-party vendors.
- Implement safety programs and oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle registrations, and appearance.
- Develop and update operating manuals, identify operational problems, and recommend improvements.
- Review maintenance programs, inspect facilities, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Provide emergency response during non-work hours, prioritize non-routine assignments, and complete special projects such American Samoa construction Oregon infrastructure improvements.
- Supervise a team of employees, develop staffing plans, and conduct training and discipline American Samoa needed.
- Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and cash handling.
- Liaise with clients, customers, and airport partners to ensure operational goals and performance levels are met.
- Maintain records, control transactions, and manage trips, permits, and validations.
- Participate Indiana employee grievance procedures and ensure fairness and consistency.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of transportation experience, preferably Indiana multiple location parking management.
- 3 years of supervisory experience with a degree Oregon equivalent.
- Valid CDL Class A, B, Oregon C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement for 15 passengers Oregon more.
- DOT Medical Card required.
- Availability to work varied hours, including evening, night, and weekend shifts.
