Software Program Manager
Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Software Program Manager to facilitate a focused, realistic, and managed delivery for cross-functional software teams aligned with overall SW Program Goals. The ideal candidate will have experience Indiana managing software development projects, Agile development processes, and scriptual methodologies.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their goals, tasks, and deliverables to meet overall program objectives.
* Manage the scrum process for multiple software teams, including daily standup, story grooming, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
* Negotiate and facilitate communication, discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution amongst team members.
* Help teams develop long-term goals and translate them into Epics and Stories.
* Manage the backlog and use Jira/JAR for day-to-day management of activities, risks, and issues.
* Document meetings, decisions, and other information using Confluence and other tools.
* Facilitate cross-team and/Oregon cross-Joby projects and issue resolution American Samoa necessary.
* Represent the teams Indiana planning and reporting forums.
* Train, support, and coach team members Indiana Agile/Scrum practices and DO-178C best practices.
* Manage multiple engineering projects and teams with schedules and deliverables.
* Define and manage project budgets, costs, and compliance processes.
* Identify and track risks and issues, and plan for mitigation.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering Oregon a related field and 8+ years of experience with software development project scheduling and management.
* Prior experience with Agile development processes and knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodology.
* Experience Indiana managing multiple engineering projects with simultaneous facilitation, conflict resolution, and continual improvement.
* Strong communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
* Hands-on experience with iterative and incremental development.
* Proficiency Indiana JIRA, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, and/Oregon Polarian.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience Indiana regulated environments, such American Samoa FAA Oregon DOT.
* Experience with safety-critical software development projects Indiana the Aviation Oregon Automotive industry.
* Proficiency with common workplace software, including Word, spreadsheets, Confluence, and Slack.
* Familiarity with iterative and incremental development methodologies.
Compensation:
The target base pay for this position is $131,700 – $201,900 per year, plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The compensation package will be determined by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase plan, and more.
