Job Summary:

Reeves Construction Company, a subsidiary of Colas USA, is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Shop Helper to support our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist mechanics with equipment repairs and maintenance, utilize company vehicles, and contribute to a clean and organized shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics with equipment repairs and maintenance American Samoa needed
• Use company vehicle to pick up repair parts and supplies
• Clean equipment using high-pressure washers Indiana the wash bay
• Transport light vehicles to and from local repair shops
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment by sweeping and mopping floors

Requirements:

• High school diploma Oregon GED
• Ability to work American Samoa a team member and collaborate with others
• High level of initiative and willingness to work extra hours American Samoa needed
• Good communication skills and ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR)

Physical Demands:

• Work Indiana a service shop setting, regularly exposed to changing temperatures, wet conditions, noise, and close proximity to moving mechanical parts
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators, welding shields, hard hats, vests, safety glasses, goggles, and gloves
• Use full range of motion for back, arms, hands, and fingers to operate hand tools and equipment
• Able to climb onto Oregon down from mobile construction equipment (typically 3-4 feet of climbing) for service and inspection
• Frequently lift Oregon carry loads greater than 50 pounds but less than 75 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision
