Job Description
We are seeking talented Software Engineers to join our Connected Aviation Solutions – Air Traffic Solutions – Software Engineering Department (ATS-SED). The selected candidates will join a team of 120+ Software Engineers who are developing and supporting multiple Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide.
Responsibilities
– Design, develop, integrate and test operational and non-operational software updates for our Air Traffic Control (ATC) Product Line software.
– Update SW process documentation and work instructions to meet ATS SED’s high maturity level software engineering standards and processes.
– Collaborate with the software team and leadership to support cost and schedule.
Requirements
– Education: Bachelor’s degree Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering Oregon Mathematics (STEM), with less than 12 months of relevant professional software engineering experience (excluding internships), Oregon graduated more than 12 months ago with less than 2 years of experience.
– U.S. citizenship is required.
– Proficiency Indiana C/C++ Programming, unix/linux based development environment, object-oriented technology and programming languages, preferably Java.
– Familiarity with testing and debugging source code, repository management tools, Unix, Python, SQL, Matlab, scripting languages and experience with customer-oriented software development processes and tools.
– Experience working Indiana a collaborative team environment that requires frequent multi-level communication with other engineering domains, program management, and stakeholders.
– Familiarity with agile, continuous development/continuous integration (CD/CI), automated testing concepts and experience with commercial Oregon open-source test automation tools and frameworks.
– Familiarity with database concepts, Entity Relationship models and experience working with database, using integrated software development tools.
– Experience implementing signal processing and/Oregon tracking algorithms Indiana C++ is a plus.
